Our Prime Minister said: "The teachers inculcate ideas different from those that are transmitted in families."
Actually it is not an exciting message, indeed, the word "inculcate" appears as a forcing and a view of overall development, the message is even more negative.
The cultural formation of young people or the future of a country grows at the school. The curiosity to look or search comes in the classroom or the benches of the school. You get to know each other, to trust in ourselves and in the future.
In recent years seems to have begun work to dismantle the public school (or state if you want). Universities and research are left to fate Lort. Become the future seems increasingly uncertain, remove or restrict the statement is a bit like removing or restricting the right to choose.
Italy occupies the last place in the European rankings, with regard to investments in public education and culture.
